Held in Hyde Park, the annual British Summertime Festival is a music lovers dream, bringing some of the most iconic artists from across the globe to the heart of London, for a week full of fun. Slightly more civilised than it’s wild counterparts, it’s perfect if you are intrigued by, but don’t want the full-blown wild festival experience. Headlining this year will be, Florence + the Machine, Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand. So get ready to get your groove on, and if you’re lucky, the weather will be on your side.

London is a cosmopolitan city that champions freedom of expression and diversity. One of the biggest showcases of this is Pride London, an annual event held to celebrate the LGBTQ community. The main parade takes place on Saturday 6th July, with close to a million people party from Portland Place to Trafalgar Square. However, the festivities begin a few weeks in advance, with so many events taking place around this time.

However, every summer, the street is pedestrianised from Piccadilly to Oxford Circus. That’s right, you can sit in the middle of Regents street, have a bite or even a boozy beverage from the vendors without getting nicked for being a nuisance. The festival takes place on four Sundays in the summer, filled with fun activities, food and entertainment. It’s completely free to attend, so get yourself down and join the party.
