The glorious Budapest summer is drawing to a close, well technically, but judging by the weather there are definitely plenty more sunny days left. Our local insiders have been on the lookout for epic events and activities taking place in Budapest this September, so you can enjoy the remaining days of fun in the sun. Here are our top picks for the best events happening this September in Budapest.

Yoga Brunch

If you’re visiting Budapest and prefer a bit of zen as opposed to a wild night out, then a bit of Yoga will be right up your street. Instead of just getting your matt and doing it in your Airbnb or apartment, why not join like-minded people for a group yoga session, in a unique setting. That’s exactly what Yoga Brunch will help you do, as every month they organise multiple yoga meetups at different locations across Budapest. This particular event will be taking place on a rooftop, with breathtaking views of Szent István Bazilika. Kicking things off will be a 70-minute yoga session, followed by some non-alcoholic drinks and socialising. So grab your yoga mat and get ready to recharge you’re mind, body and soul.

Resident DJ’s Erro and Drizzy will be joined behind the decks by the Australian born soundgyal Morgan, who has been carving quite the reputation for her scratching skills across the globe. The event starts at 10am going on till 10pm, and if you’re still feeling the vibes then join the afterparty at one of Budapest premier nightclubs, Lock. Like the tunes that will be played, this event is going to be a banger, so release your inner raver and have one helluva time.

Summer Never Ends II

September signals the end of the summer, but try telling that to the Cream Of Sounds, for them the summer is never over. They’re not alone and this was evident in the massive turnout for the outdoor “Summer Is Never Over” party last year. After its huge success in 2018, the party is back and promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Held at the iconic riverside venue, Kabin, this event will welcome partygoers from all over to dance to the sounds of progressive trance. Joining resident DJ’s thedunaj (Cream Of Sounds) and Bæcker behind this year will be James Cole. The combo of good drinks, banging beats and a cracking crowd, makes this an event you simply can’t miss.
